Insurance Claims

When hail, wind, or a fallen branch damages your roof or exterior, the insurance process runs alongside the repair itself. Pro24 Contracting documents visible construction damage, explains the scope of work needed, and works with your insurance company’s adjuster, while the insurance carrier makes the coverage decision, not the contractor.

What to do first

Photograph what you can see safely from the ground, note the date of the storm, and avoid climbing onto a wet, icy, steep, or damaged roof. Keep any emergency invoices (tarping, board-up) and correspondence from your insurer together in one place. That documentation strengthens the claim regardless of who ends up doing the repair.

What Pro24 does during a claim

Pro24 inspects the property, documents the visible damage, and provides a written scope that an adjuster can review alongside their own assessment. If the adjuster’s estimate misses something Pro24 observed, such as a section of damaged decking, a related area of the roof, or matching siding needed for a repair, Pro24 can point to specific, documented conditions to support a revised estimate. Pro24 does not promise a claim outcome and does not decide coverage; that stays with your insurance company.

Be present for the adjuster visit when you can

Being on-site when the adjuster inspects the property lets you point out anything you noticed that might not be visible from a quick walk-through. If Pro24 has already completed an inspection, that documentation can be shared with the adjuster ahead of time.

If your home or building was recently affected by a storm, call 612-235-8696 or use the contact page to schedule an inspection and start the documentation your claim will need.
